Funding Summary
AHW’s Call for Applications: MCW Post-Doctoral Researcher Seed Grants supports eligible MCW Post-Doctoral Researchers and their faculty supervisor to test innovative ideas to address Wisconsin’s leading health challenges and enhance Wisconsin’s health workforce equipped to conduct valuable research to advance health. Successful seed projects will build a foundation for future research and career development beyond the project period. Applicants may request up to $50,000 for projects completed within a 12-month period, beginning Jan. 1, 2025.

Application and Review Process Timeline
June - Aug., 2024: Consult with AHW to review proposed project scope and fit with the call for applications
By Aug. 5, 2024: Share draft application with AHW for feedback
Aug. 19, 2024 (required): Applications due by 5:00 p.m. CDT via the online application form
Within three business days of signature request (required): Electronic signatures due from key personnel via an AHW-initiated DocuSign process
Aug. 30 - Sept. 25, 2024 (required): Application review
Oct. 2024: Notification of funding decisions
Jan. 1, 2025: Project start date
