Academic Partner Opportunity

Opportunity Summary

The Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment is evolving its model of matching community and academic partners to collaborate on AHW-funded projects, incorporating feedback about how to make the most of these powerful relationships. The new model will involve a pool of pre-approved MCW faculty to serve as academic partners on funded Community-Led Seed Grant projects.

Selected MCW Principal Investigators (PIs) will receive funding to serve in pre-defined key roles in fulfillment of community-identified needs, as outlined in grant funding applications.

To be eligible, applicants must be full-time or full professional effort MCW faculty members with the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, and have a primary appointment in the School of Medicine.
MCW faculty should be able to commit 10% or 20% FTE at the time of application to engage with one or two Community-Led Seed Grant projects over 12 to 18 months, starting in 2025.
