Join over 500 public health leaders, advocates, and changemakers at the 2026 WPHA Annual Conference. This year's conference will focus on collective action that will shape the future of public health in Wisconsin. Attendees will dive into timely policy discussions, sharpen their advocacy skills, and explore concrete ways to mobilize the public health workforce during a pivotal year.
Join nursing leaders, geriatric specialists, and healthcare innovators for a day of inspiring keynotes, collaborative panels, and practical workshops—right in the heart of Titletown. This event aims to unite multidisciplinary voices to advance compassionate, evidence-based care for older adults.
The 2026 summit theme is "Working together for a Shared Future" and the goal is to bring together professionals in the field of injury and violence prevention (IVP) along with others interested in learning about and expanding IVP services, resources, programs, and policies. This opportunity will provide a chance to build relationships with partners involved in the advancement of IVP in the state.
The PATH Conference brings together professionals from across the fields of human services, prevention, social work, counseling, public health, and behavioral health to explore innovative strategies and evidence-based practices that strengthen our collective response to substance use and mental health challenges in our communities.
The conference theme is Strategies for Action and Hope, building on the newly released 2025 Wisconsin Suicide Prevention Plan which is designed to increase the effectiveness of suicide prevention efforts by providing statewide data along with best practices, resources, and
recommended action steps. Approaching suicide as a public health issue means intervening on the individual, interpersonal, community, organizational, and societal levels to help all Wisconsinites live their best lives and get help when they need it.
The Wisconsin Substance Use Summit is an event focused on actionable strategies to build healthy communities through substance use prevention, intervention, treatment, and recovery services and supports.
This two-day tribal-led convening will bring together Tribal leaders, health directors, epidemiology centers, clinicians, public health professionals, workforce leaders, and state and national partners. Rooted in sovereignty and focused on the future, this conference is designed to advance tribal public health systems through leadership, innovation, and collaboration in the Great Lakes area and beyond.
This event celebrates and supports recovery, creating opportunities for attendees to connect with others, and eliminate stigma. In addition to statewide speakers, and recovery speakers, the event will include resource tables, naloxone administration training, craft and wellness activities, kids activities, DJ and dancing, an open mic, and free t-shirts, key chains, pizza and refreshments. The Wisconsin Voices for Recovery Advocacy Award will also be presented. There will be an American Sign Language interpreter at the event.
